Full Speed Ahead: Snowmaking News

Excellent snowmaking temperatures have returned and our snowmaking team is back to doing what they do best! Our system is running at full tilt - that means close to 400 guns and a huge amount of that white stuff.

The current forecast looks like we will have round-the-clock opportunities throughout the entire week which will allow us to expand terrain at a rapid pace while giving us the opportunity to resurface and deepen existing terrain.

We are focusing on adding beginner terrain from the summit on Mike’s Way, West Meadows, Drifter Link, Snow Bowl Alley and Old Log Road at the same time adding lower mountain terrain on Village Walk, Suntanner, and Yodeler. We have also started snowmaking production for terrain parks on Tyrolienne and East Byrneside. Additional upper mountain expansion trails include Janeway Junction, Upper & Lower Spruce, Upper Middlebrook, Shooter and Way Home.

With 5 great days already under our skis and boards, we're very excited at the prospect of more trails to come. Stay tuned to the daily snow report for snowmaking updates and the latest trail and lift count.

See you on the slopes,
Mike Quinn
VP of Operations
