Snowmaking Starts Sunday

It's on! Snowmaking is in progress on the Upper Mountain, marking the official start of the winter season!

Our first window of snowmaking weather is tonight (Sunday, November 4) and the system is GO as temperatures hit the the 20s. Happily, that's just the beginning - temps should stay low Monday and through Monday night. We're looking at a good window of snowmaking opportunity and all hands are on deck to take advantage of it.

The snowmaking focus will stay on the Upper Mountain for now, starting with trails like Black Bear, Polar Bear, Grizzly Bear, North American, Bear Bottom and Old # 8.

Updated snowmaking news and, of course, photos are on their way first thing in the morning. Until then, think snow.
