Best friends. Bucket list. Favorite author. Staying warm. Boot fit. Steeps. Bumps. Trees. Fear. Rockers. Helmets. Exercise.
Local foods. Flexion. Extension. Mittens. Favorite actor. Best après ski
beverage.
These are just some of the topics tossed around on the
chairlift at Stratton's Women on snoW (WOW) ski camps. And not necessarily in that
order.
There's something to be said for taking a couple of days to
ski and play on the mountain with a group of women who have your back. Whether
your goal is to ski better, laugh a lot, learn, relax, or get-a-way, a WOW
Camp is the place to be.
Camp begins Sunday night with hors d'oeuvres, introductions,
a presentation by our guest coach, and goal setting. On day one, we stretch,
ski, learn about boot fit, demo skis, and ski some more. After the lifts
close, you can wind down at the gym, in the spa, shopping, dining, snowshoeing
or just plain chillin'. Day two starts with another stretch, a day filled with
skiing, and ends with yoga-for-skiers-and-riders by the fireplace in the Living
Room.
You are guaranteed to leave camp, happy, tired, refreshed,
inspired, a better skier, with new friends, and ready to come back for more. So,
if you can break free this Sunday through Tuesday, March 10-12, join us for our
third WOW camp this season. Visit www.stratton.com/women
for details and info on how to register.
This is a guest post
by Jo Kirsch, a woman behind the WoW camps and PSIA-certified instructor. Stay tuned for another guest blog from Jenny
Dempsey on the benefits of catching girls’ time on a snowboard.
