Get in the Groove for WinterWonderGrass

We’re officially ten days away from WinterWonderGrass’s East Coast debut, and we couldn’t be more excited here at Stratton. A weekend of some of the best music, craft beer, and skiing around? Say no more. To get ready for an iconic weekend, here are our favorite songs from some of this year’s performers.

Mountain Annie – Fruition

This Portland, Oregon base quintet is one of the up and coming names in bluegrass. Known for combining rock, bluegrass and folk, their sound is early and genuine.

Dust in a Baggie – Billy Strings

Hailing from Nashville, Billy Strings lives by the motto play hard, live hard. He’s routinely known for breaking multiple stings per song and of course his lively shows. Be sure to catch him at Grass After Dark as well.

Point to Point – Jon Stickley Trio

For this instrumental trio, think Chuck Berry meets metal meets bluegrass. As their reviewed, they’re “not your father’s acoustic guitar music.”

After Many Miles – Ghost of Paul Revere

With influences from Radiohead, the Beatles and Led Zeppelin, this Maine based group is known for their call and response melodies and densely layered harmonies.
