Discovery Days – a weekend dedicated to new experiences in the rolling Green Mountains of southern Vermont. From June 21-23, Stratton will be offering clinics, tastings, and complimentary sessions to get you into a new sport, hobby or adventure, ideal for the whole family. Discover what life in the mountains is all about with introductions to hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, yoga and golf. Try out customizing tie-dye shirts or making your own rock candy, or kick your feet up and learn from local experts in a wine and cheese pairing with eight deliciously paired wines & complementing Vermont cheeses.
Learn to Mountain Bike
We will be holding discounted Learn To Mountain Bike lessons all weekend long at the Stratton Bike Park. The Learn To Mountain Bike lesson gets you 50% off on your lesson, rental, and lift ticket. Whether you are brand new to mountain biking or looking for a skills refresh, this lesson is just right for you.
Beginner Mountain Top Yoga
Never taken a yoga class? No worries – we are offering Beginner Mountain Top Yoga Classes on Saturday and Sunday from 12:30PM-1:30PM on the Summit Yoga Deck. One of our experienced Yoga Instructors will walk the class through a basic and fun routine to get you familiar with the art of Yoga.
Rock Candy Workshop
This one is for the kiddos! How cool would it be to make your own candy and eat it too?! Gather at the Mountain Sweets candy shop on Saturday and Sunday morning from 10AM-11AM and create your own rock candy. We will walk you through the whole process, then its up to you to execute the finished product back at home.
Roots of Golf
Learn about golf at Friday’s Roots of Golf clinic from 4PM-5PM at the Stratton Golf Course. This clinic explains the “roots” of golf and how it started as a “social game”, the beauty and the friendships developed, and how their golf journey is a journey for life. Explain the process of utilizing the golf driving range, how to make a tee time, and how to take the pressure off once you get on the golf course. Understand the importance of learning the fundamentals and how the fundamentals differ from person to person. Hit golf balls with instruction at the Golf Course practice facility. One drink from Green Apron is included with your registration.
Learn to Tie Dye
Nothing like a good Tie Dye session to kick off the summer season. You will receive everything you need including dyes and rubber bands as well as your choice of a tee shirt or tank top to customize at southern Vermont’s highest peak. This event is taking place Saturday and Sunday from 11AM-12PM.
Basic First Aid and CPR
Educate yourself at our First Aid training and CPR class which will be held in the West Wing of the Main Base Lodge on Saturday and Sunday from 11AM-12PM. This specific class is meant to prepare you for emergency situations that you may encounter when on an adventure, because you can never be too prepared.
Guided Hiking
New to the resort and looking to be familiarized? Come along with us for a guided hike up southern Vermont’s highest peak to the summit of Stratton Mountain. This is a moderate hike to summit, approximately 3 miles, with gondola ride back down to the base area. Please bring your own water, snacks, layers and dress appropriately.
