When you think of Vermont, cold weather and skiing are probably what come to mind. The truth of the matter is that this is an exceptional place to work and reside 365 days of the year, especially in the summer and fall seasons. From May to early-September you’ll enjoy warm, sunny days in the gorgeous green mountains of Southern Vermont, and come the tail-end of September and the first weeks of October, fall foliage will reach it’s peak and leaf peeping will be at an all time high. As a Vermont resident and Stratton Employee, I genuinely have a hard time deciding which time of the year is my favorite, for both work and leisure. Whether you want to spend your days outside breathing in the fresh VT air, or indoors chilling in the cool AC, we’ve got something for you.
Into Mountain Biking? The Stratton Bike Park is growing every year and we’re always looking for new employees to add to the team. We are currently in need of Mountain Bike Instructors and Trail Crew. Both of these positions will keep you outside and active, while also granting you a complimentary season which gives you the opportunity to cruise our mountain bike trail system. Instructors should be experienced mountain bikers who are interested in offering insight and lessons on everything downhill mountain biking. Trail Crew members are in charge of maintaining the Stratton Bike Park trail system, ensuring that everything is safe and fun for all of our guests.
Our 27-hole state-of-the-art golf club is seeking potential employees for Pro Shop Associate, Outdoor Service Attendant and Golf Course Groundskeeper positions. Pro Shop Associates will spend time both inside and outside assisting guests in having an enjoyable day on the course. Working as the Outdoor Service Attendant involves cleaning golf carts and clubs, assisting guests in carrying golf bags to desired locations, picking the driving range, and completing other outdoor tasks around the course. Golf Course Groundskeepers are responsible for providing the best possible playing conditions for our guests, from maintaining greens to raking sandpits. If you are looking for a gratifying outdoor labor role, this one is for you.
The Food and Beverage team is in need of a number of skilled employees who are passionate about providing top-notch dining experiences here at the resort. Currently the F&B team is in search of a Chef De Cuisine (year round), Restaurant Manager (flex year round), Catering Manager (year round), Resort Summer Line Cook, and Stratton Mountain Club Summer Line Cook.
Some other seasonal positions we are currently hiring for include a Lodging Front Desk Agent, Summer Camp Counselor and Resort Groundskeeper/Operator.
