Denver, CO – Since Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica on October 28, 2025, the Alterra Mountain Company Community Foundation (AMCCF) has awarded approximately $200,000 in emergency relief funding to impacted individuals across the Alterra Mountain Company family. Roughly half of these funds were provided directly by AMCCF, and the other half were raised by Stratton through the leadership of its resort team and the generosity of employees, guests, and community members.
AMCCF provides hardship relief assistance to those living and working in its mountain communities, but the hurricane impacted an outsized number of Stratton employees, who accounted for nearly 80 percent of all submissions. In response, Stratton mobilized quickly and raised $100,000 to support its impacted team members, which was complemented by AMCCF’s relief funding.
