Labor Day Weekend is one of the biggest weekends of the summer at Stratton, with five days of events, shopping and mountain fun. The Village Sale returns, Saturday brings live music, and Sunday is packed with Fall Festival, the Farmers Market and more.
We May Be Right — A Billy Joel Tribute
Saturday night, the outdoor stage comes alive with the music of Billy Joel. We May Be Right brings an authentic Billy Joel tribute to the Base Area, recreating the sound and energy of the Piano Man’s live performances. Doors open at 6PM with music beginning at 6:30PM. The concert is rain or shine.

Fall Festival
Spend the afternoon in the Base Area with Vermont vendors, makers, artists, photographers, food and plenty more as we kick off the fall season in the Green Mountains. The Mallett Brothers take over the outdoor stage with live music from 11:30AM–5PM, giving you a soundtrack for a full afternoon of exploring the festival. Best of all, admission is free.

Farmers Market
The Stratton Farmers Market is back for both Saturday and Sunday, bringing local Vermont vendors, makers and artists to the Base Area.
Browse locally made crafts, gifts, jewelry, food and more from a rotating collection of small businesses while you make your way around the mountain. The market runs from 10AM–5PM both days, making it an easy stop between brunch, Scenic Lift Rides, live music and everything else happening throughout the weekend.

Labor Day Village Sale
One of the biggest shopping weekends of the year is back in the Stratton Village. The annual Labor Day Village Sale runs Thursday through Monday with 30–70% off gear and apparel throughout the Courtyard and Village shops.
Shop deals from brands including The North Face, Burton, Rossignol, Salomon, Smith, Smartwool, GoPro and more, with everything from outerwear and goggles to skis, snowboards and winter gear up for grabs. Come early for the biggest selection and get a head start on the season ahead.
Tails and Trails Summit Hike
Bring your four-legged hiking buddy along for a Sunday morning trek to the summit during the Tails and Trails Hike. This guided hike climbs roughly three miles and 2,000 vertical feet to the top of Stratton, with a Scenic Gondola Ride back down to the Base Area once you reach the summit.
Dogs must remain leashed throughout the hike, but you don’t need a pup to join in. The hike is free, with advance registration requested.

More Ways to Spend the Weekend
There’s plenty happening beyond the headliners. Ride American Express up for Mid-Mountain Chairlift Brunch Saturday and Sunday from 10AM–1PM, find your flow at Mountain Top Yoga, or catch Sammy Blanchette live at the summit from 12–3PM Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.
The Gondola and American Express will also be spinning Thursday through Monday for Scenic Gondola Rides and Bike Park laps, with UTV Tours, golf, hiking, CLIMB, tennis, pickleball and the Training and Fitness Center giving you plenty more ways to fill the long weekend.
