Pack the Night Before
Regardless of if you have a few hours of driving or a stroll to the slopes the morning of opening day, no one wants to be searching for that left mitten before hitting the hill. Make sure you lay out all your gear the night before so you can get to the hill delay-free.

Read Up
The snow report is the holy grail when it comes to mountain updates. The snow report will let you know about weather, snowmaking updates, trail conditions, and most importantly what terrain is open for skiing and riding.
Relax
Opening day isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. Don’t forget that this is the first day of your season, so take it easy, you don’t want to get injured on day one. If you do need to take a break, head to Grizzly’s for the first apres of the season.
