Activities in Vermont

When conditions are right, fat biking on the Nordic Center’s ski trails can be wonderfully invigorating. Whether you’re zooming downhill or taking time to appreciate the trails winding through a Wildlife Conservation Area, there is something for everyone.

As with cross-country skiing, fat biking is an aerobic sport – dress in layers and be ready to shed a layer once you warm up on our numerous uphill climbs. Gloves are a must, as the descents bring on windchill.

Bike rentals are available in 1 ¾ hour increments. We provide helmets.

  • Head to the Sun Bowl Nordic Center located through the archway on the left just before the Sun Bowl parking lots.
  • Parking is available in the Sun Bowl lots or along the access road near the Nordic Center.
