Your Guide to Dining at Stratton Mountain

Whether you’re looking for something to fuel you up before a day on the slopes or an après snack as you wind down after some turns, we’ve got you covered on cuisine. Worth noting, almost all of our restaurants around the resort are extremely kid-friendly, with the exception of Green Door Pub which is 21+. Keep reading to learn about all of our dining options on-resort. Let’s grub!

Benedict’s

Some will argue that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we just might have to agree. Before hopping on the chair lift, it’s so important to be fueled up with enough energy to get you through until your next meal, which could be a lot later on in the day. Benedict’s has you covered with a solid menu featuring creative renditions of your typical eggs benedict along with a number of other tasty items to be enjoyed in the AM. Their drink menu is a fan favorite, more specifically their mimosa flight.

Carve

If you’re looking for an elevated dining experience, look no further than Carve. The menu features a variety of elegant dishes that the whole family can get behind including our finest cuts of beef along with fresh seafood, pasta, and seasonally inspired specialties. The wine list features a curated selection of local and international wines, carefully chosen to complement each dish.

Grizzly’s

Located in the Main Base Lodge which makes for easy access, Grizzly’s is the spot to sit down with friends and sip on a cold drink paired with a hot bite to eat. The menu is full of tasty appetizers and meals along with a robust cocktail menu and draught list. Aside from their tasty fare, the view of the mountain from Griz is unmatched – especially when you take a step out onto the deck. It’s the bar at the base, baby!

The Market in the Main Base Lodge

The Market is located in the Main Base Lodge and offers a large variety of ski resort fare including breakfast sandwiches, chicken tenders, burgers, hand-sliced turkey and corned beef sandwiches, noodle bowls, soups and salads all of which can be paired with a number of different beverages – both hot and cold. Fuel up at the Market and enjoy your day on the mountain!

Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the Main Base Lodge.

Table 43.1

Located in the Black Bear Lodge, Table 43.1 is a great family-friendly dining option, especially if you are staying at the hotel. The bar features Vermont craft beers, wine, and seasonal drink specials. The menu is full of delectable appetizers, hearty meals and the children’s menu is always available. *Menu is subject to change.*

Dinner begins at 4PM, seven days a week. Enjoy the complimentary Brunch Bar from 7AM to 10AM at Table 43.1 for those with a lodging reservation at Black Bear Lodge. Pull up a chair, and join us at the Table.

Bar 802

The moment you step foot into Bar 802 you will be immersed with cozy surroundings and local offerings. A revolving selection of desirable Vermont craft beer pairs perfectly with the newly designed taco and Tex-Mex menu offerings. Exceptional craft cocktails mixed by a professional staff, and exquisite wine selections can always be found behind the bar. Swing through for dinner as Bar 802 features a full dining room and is the perfect stop for a full family or group. Stop by and let your taste buds soak in all that the 802 area is famous for.

Stratton Market and Deli

If you’re on-resort, you have to go see Liz at the Stratton Market and Deli: your one stop shop while visiting us here at southern Vermont’s highest peak. Breakfast is served at the deli, which includes your typical Bacon/Sausage/Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese along with some other tasty offerings like the Steak and Egg Burrito, is served until 11AM. For lunch, pair one of their artisanal sandwiches with a hot cup of soup. If you’re feeling something more filling, go for one of their cheese steaks (I’d recommend the Fire Steak).

While you wait for your food, step over into the market which is packed with provisions. Whatever you need, they more than likely have. Forgot your toothbrush? Covered. Looking for some Vermont craft beer? They got it. Delicious home-made frozen pasta dishes to feed the crew? Oh yeah, and they’re dang good.

Fire Tower Restaurant and Tavern

Named after the iconic Fire Tower that sits atop of the Stratton Summit, The Fire Tower Restaurant and Tavern is a must-try when visiting us. The vibes are right as soon as you walk in the door. Fire places are lit and the ambiance is legit. Their menu is amazing and has something for the whole family to enjoy. Grab a stool at the cozy bar where you will be greeted and served by some stand-up human beings (shoutout Mike and G). Reservations are not required but are highly recommended.

Mulligans

Mulligans is the place for great food and good times. Home to Mulligans, Snowfish Sushi, the Green Door Pub and The Drift, Mulligans is centrally located near the Clocktower with three dining rooms, multiple bars and take-out service. Serving lunch and dinner, reservations available for parties of six or more.

Take a seat at the main bar, which boasts fine beers and ales, magnifico margaritas, a varied and growing wine list and Stratton’s biggest selection of house-infused Bloody Marys. Head on up to the fireside loft and the Whi-Ski Bar, featuring cask-aged rare and fine bourbons and ryes. The giant appetizer menu features all your favorites and a few surprises. Entrees range from salads to steaks with nightly specials and a kid’s menu. The brownie a la mode is famous!

Green Door Pub

Feeling like a local? We know a place… a place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful men and women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. We’re talking about a little place called the Green Door Pub. Overflowing buckets of wings, $4 Narragansetts, competitive billiards, good music and better times. Come down and see the 1-star bar for yourself. You won’t regret it.

Upper Standard Coffee Company

The newest addition to the Stratton Village is Upper Standard Coffee Company which is located right next to Bar 802 and across from the Real Estate Building. Stop in and indulge in warm Belgian Waffles, Vermont Grilled Cheese with Organic Tomato Soup, Ice Cream and much much more! Their coffee and hot coco is always on point and pairs wonderfully with a fresh pastry. We are so happy to offer this new location and look forward to seeing you in there.
