Memorial Day Weekend at Stratton

It’s almost that time to break out those flip flops and sunnies and we are absolutely here for it. The 2024 Summer Season at Stratton kicks off on Friday, May 24 of Memorial Day Weekend with a number of events and activities becoming available including mountain biking, scenic lift rides, dining, shopping, live music and more! Take the trip and enjoy a terrifically tranquil weekend in the rolling green mountains of southern Vermont.


Downhill Mountain Biking: Friday, May 24 – Monday, May 27

The Stratton Bike Park will be open Friday through Monday of Memorial Day Weekend from 10AM to 5PM. Our Bike Park Season Passes are on sale now and are a great investment if you see yourself frequenting the trails. Here for the day or weekend? We offer single-day passes as well. If you are new to the downhill biking world, fear not as we offer group and private lessons taught by our team of experienced Mountain Bike Instructors, along with full equipment rentals (helmet, pads and bikes). Terrain expansion has been the name of the game over the last few years and we continue to add onto our trail system throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons as weather allows.

Scenic Lift Rides: Friday, May 24 – Monday, May 27

Gather up your group, pack a picnic and head up to the summit on one of our Scenic Lift Rides where you’ll find plenty of smiles and views that go for miles. The Gondola and American Express will be spinning from 10AM to 4:30PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday in celebration of the holiday weekend. A Scenic Lift Ride ticket grants you unlimited spins on both the Gondola and American Express. Last ride up the Gondola is at 4:30PM!

Live Music: Saturday, May 25

Aside from Mountain Biking and Scenic Lift Rides, we also have live music scheduled on Saturday, May 25 where Raise Your Hands – a Bon Jovi tribute band is set to hit the stage at 6PM. Doors open at 5:30PM. Memorial Day Weekend Concert Tickets should be purchased online. Tickets are RFID enabled and can be picked up at Courtyard/Guest Services PUB locations as well as The HUB and Guest Services windows day of concert. Tickets are $25 in advance for adults (11+ years old) and $35 day of the event. Tickets are $15 in advance for kids (5-10 years old) and are $25 day of the event. Kid’s 4 & Under are free but must be seen at ticket window to receive their free ticket. *All Prices plus taxes. Concert is rain or shine.


Shopping and Dining

Along with our activities and live music, a number of our resort shops and restaurants will reopen for the summer beginning Memorial Day Weekend. Dining options will include Grizzly’s, Base Camp, Benedict’s, Table 43.1 and more. As for our retail shops, you can look forward to getting geared out for summer at a handful of locations including but not limited to First Run, Burton and The North Face.
