Summer is shifting to fall, and the cooler nights are starting to roll in. Before we know it, shades of orange, red, and yellow will blanket the Green Mountains in a vibrant cascade of color. Whether you’re a local or making the trip from miles away, autumn at Stratton always leaves us in awe. From sightseeing with scenic lift rides to HarvestFest Brewfest and Oktoberfest, where we will celebrate with live mountain music, brews, mac and cheese sampling, and all the activities to keep the kids and family happy. Scenic Lift Rides

Soar 3,875 feet to the summit of Stratton Mountain to view the rolling mountains of Southern Vermont. But a Scenic Lift Ride in the fall is something else, with the autumnal colors blanketing the mountains. Ready to see autumn from a whole new angle. Our Scenic Lift Rides will operate throughout fall and peak foliage season, and trust us, the view from up here never disappoints. HarvestFest Brewfest

Get ready for Vermont’s ultimate fall celebration! HarvestFest’s Brewfest takes over Stratton Mountain on Saturday, October 12, from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Sample Vermont’s finest brews featuring ales, lagers, porters, sours, and ciders, all surrounded by stunning fall foliage.

But the celebration goes far beyond craft beer. Dance to live outdoor music with performances by The Mallet Brothers and Saints & Liars. Indulge in the ultimate comfort food showdown as the Stratton Chefs compete with their mac and cheese creations, made with Vermont’s famous local cheeses. Plus, there is something for the whole family. Kids can sign up for a one-day adventure camp with activities such as arts and crafts, hiking, and visiting the fog pond, all while parents sample the best of Vermont’s brewing scene.

Give yourself a treat, kick back, and take in the colors at Southern Vermont’s highest peak!


Oktoberfest



Keep the HarvestFest Weekend celebration rolling with Oktoberfest on Sunday, October 13! This is Stratton’s spin on the traditional German-style festival, with more live outdoor music from The Amish Outlaws. Plus, try your hand at a stein hoisting competition and keg toss contest, and get a chance to win a $100 prize! Feast on classic beer brats and savor Vermont’s finest brews. While geared toward adults 21+, this is truly a family-friendly celebration with kids’ activities, including pumpkin painting and an outdoor rock wall, ensuring everyone has a blast. Soak in the fall season and create an unforgettable autumn finale to HarvestFest Weekend at Oktoberfest.


The North Face Race to the Summit


Closing your long weekend out and start the day with the best food forward by taking part in The North Face Race to the Summit. Run, jog or hike your way up 3,875 feet to the summit. Each winner from the male and female group will recive an Ikon Base pass!

  • Mountain Biking
    • The Stratton Bike Park will operate through October 14 (HarvestFest Weekend), giving you one last chance to experience fall mountain biking at its finest, with over 10 miles of downhill trails carving through turns surrounded by blazing reds, oranges, and yellows. So grab your crew and drop in for the ultimate fall adventure before the season comes to a close!

  • Golf

  • UTV Tours
    • Want to chase the fall foliage veiws? A guided UTV tour is a top teir way to see the mountain in it’s most colorful form. It’s an adreniline pumping activity for the whole familt that never disapoints.
  • CLIMB
    • CLIMB is our indoor climbing gym, located at the end of the Villiage. Whether you’re into bouldering or climbing, completed tough pitches, or never touched a rock wall, we have what you need to advance your skills.
  • Hiking
    • Stratton offers 3 different hiking trails that will take you to the summit or Mid Mountain, depending how far your looking to go. Want to go further? Once you reach the summit, head over to the Fire Tower for 360 degree veiws at the top of this iconic land point.
  • Shopping
    • The Villiage shops are stocked with new arrivals for the 2025/26 season. From skis, boards, boots and the outtwear that’ll keep you warm and happy on the slopes this winter.
