Stratton Mountain Resort’s 60th Anniversary
Officially open for skiing on December 29, 1961, this season kicks off Stratton Mountain’s 60th Anniversary season.
In the mountain’s long history, this community has proven one thing, we are Made For Winter. Decades of smiles, season passes, first turns, powder days, cheers, family photos, and memories have occurred in the years following the inaugural opening day of December 29, 1961.
We want to see your Made For Winter memories and what makes 60 years of Stratton Mountain special to you. Post a photo of your first season pass, vintage skis on the mantle, your first snowboard turned wall decor, family photos, and favorite memories with the hashtags #MadeForWinter & #StrattonMountain. Post them to your profile, or use the gallery below to upload them directly to our Made For Winter album.
We will be sharing our favorite memories all season long as we celebrate 60 years.
From December 29 cupcakes to commemorative items in the Village, there will be ways to take a moment and appreciate the history of this special place while making a bit of history of your own all season long.
