What’s new at the Stratton Bike Park?

We are beyond ecstatic to get back on the saddle here at the Stratton Bike Park. Trail Crew is hard at work, dialing in the trails for opening day, which is taking place on Friday, May 24, 2024 of Memorial Day Weekend. There are several things being introduced to the Bike Park this season that we think you all will be pretty stoked on. Keep reading to learn more about what’s new at the Stratton Bike Park!


FREE Ikon Pass MTB Day

That’s right – all 24/25 Ikon Pass Holders receive one full-day lift ticket which grants you access to our state-of-the-art bike park as well as unlimited scenic lift rides on American Express and the Summit Gondola, among many other perks designed for Ikon Pass Holders.


Bear’s Den 

Bear’s Den is the newest addition to Stratton Bike Park’s trail system! This dual-direction trail takes riders on a fun and flowy ride over to the Sun Bowl base area. Accessed via Trail Forest One, these two trails combined equal over two miles of rolling downhill!  

Designed to be ridden in both directions, once riders make it to the Sun Bowl, they’ll turn around and head back up the trail to make it back to the Main Base Area.  


Kid’s Camps

Gear up for an unforgettable two-wheeled adventure at our Kids Mountain Bike Camp!  

Led by experienced instructors, our camp offers the perfect blend of fun and skill-building, tailored for young riders of all levels. From mastering basic techniques to tackling rugged terrain with confidence, every day promises new challenges and exhilarating triumphs. 

Whether your child is a beginner or a budding pro, our camp ensures they pedal their way to endless excitement and a lifelong passion for mountain biking!

Women’s Clinics

Our women’s mountain bike camps are designed to be a welcoming camaraderie-driven experience for women. Whether you’re brand new to mountain biking, an experienced rider looking to pick up some new skills, or looking to meet more women to ride with, our mountain bike camps are for you! 


First Time Lessons

Never mountain biked before? Here’s what you need: lift ticket, rental, lesson. Our First Timer package is designed to set you off on the right foot… or tire? Our mountain bike instructors are here to show you the basics of mountain biking in a safe and unintimidating learning environment. If you’re interested in getting into mountain biking, this is the right package for you!   


Guided Rides

There’s no better way to familiarize yourself with our trails than to take a few runs with our experienced guides. Whether it’s your first time visiting Stratton Bike Park or you’ve ridden the park for a while, this one-hour guided ride will focus on showing you around the park, help you find the best lines, and get to know the park from a local.  


Half Day Lift Tickets and Equipment Rentals

New to the Stratton Bike Park this season are half-day lift tickets and equipment rental. Whether you are trying downhill mountain biking for the first time and want to ease into things or can only make it up an afternoon session, half-day lift tickets and equipment rentals are a great option that the whole family can get behind. *Half-day lift tickets and rentals become available at 1PM and grant you access to the Bike Park until 4PM.* 


RFID Gates and Tickets

We now have RFID (radio-frequency identification) ticket scanning technology which allows Bike Park guests to load the lift without the process of having their lift ticket or season pass scanned manually. Both season passes and daily lift tickets are compatible with RFID-technology and our 2024 Bike Park Season Passes are on sale now! Learn more about our RFID gates here.

  • Friday, 5/24 through Sunday 6/30 – 10:00AM to 4:00PM  
  • Thursday, 7/1 through Monday, 9/2 – 10:00AM – 5:00PM 
  • Friday, 9/6 through Friday, 10/14 – 10:00AM – 4:00PM
