What the couple had to say: “Overall, we were so happy with our choice to get married at Stratton. We felt so loved all weekend, and like local celebrities in the town of Stratton (with several posting signs congratulating us and welcoming our guests). The accommodations at the Stratton condos were comfortable, clean, and perfect for our large group. We enjoyed several activities over the wedding weekend, including pickle ball, hiking, and golf, and had a wonderful rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Grizzly’s. Choosing Stratton was definitely the best decision we made for our wedding, and we would do it again in a heartbeat.”

Nolan and Matt’s wedding was filled with special touches of hand-crafted decor. From antique thrifted votives to hand drawn signage, Nolan and Matt put tons of personal touches into their special day. Even Nolan’s bouquet had DIY written all over it. The day before their wedding, Nolan was welcomed with open arms into Kate’s shop to create her own bridal bouquet. The wild colored dahlias she chose were nothing less than jaw dropping!

Those Swedes certainly know how to throw an unforgettable party! This epic dance floor was non-stop energy, carrying us all the way through the night. It was packed with sing-along anthems, making it easy (and loud!) to celebrate.

What the couple had to say: “There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for Emily and her team at Stratton Mountain. The ceremony was held at the top of the mountain and our reception was at the Stratton Mountain Club. The choreography of everything seemed absolutely perfect; we were never rushing anywhere, waiting for anything, or wondering what to do when, which just speaks to the strength of our coordinator. I know that even if we weren’t able to pull off the summit ceremony, Emily would have equally made the rain plan of Chapel of the Snows just as flawless and special. For anyone getting married at Stratton Mountain, you will be so lucky to work with Emily and her team!”

Best Exit

We absolutely live for a sparkler send-off. They brought boundless energy, perfecting their grand exit with multiple runs up and down the dazzling tunnel, culminating in a triumphant kiss. The moment was so epic, even Eliza’s mom couldn’t resist jumping in on the fun!

🔥 Pro Tip: When it comes to sparklers, bigger is always better!

What the couple had to say: “I truly cannot describe how amazing Stratton is. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but they made wedding planning SO EASY. We got married 4 days ago and we are still on a high! It was flawless having everyone in the same area, everyone loved their housing, having a shuttle for those who want it, but walking was SO easy. The village was open for those who want it, golf and activities for our guests, and easy travel for those driving from Boston, CT and NY! Truly nothing went wrong and everyone said it was the best wedding they ever went to – and they are a tough crowd to please!  The Chapel was adorable and could fit our entire group of 160 with seats to spare it was so cute. It was so fun seeing the leaves through the circle window. Taking pictures at the golf club was gorgeous.  The Stratton Mountain Club was perfect! The combo of cocktail hour and the reception worked perfectly. The fact that guests could take a break on the wraparound porch in front of the fire pits was such a plus, in addition to the comfy couches in the main area!. The food was AMAZING and the staff was incredible. We will never get over how amazing Stratton is and are forever grateful for making our special day absolutely perfect. If you are considering getting married at Stratton this is your sign to absolutely do it — not one complaint except we are sad it’s over!!”

We spotted the sweetest detail of the day! The father of the bride had his tie custom-crafted using fabric from the mother’s wedding dress. It was a subtle, elegant touch—a truly special detail we had never seen before!

Best Dessert

Couple: Lauren & Zack

Wedding Details: Saturday, March 8th, 2025 at The Chapel of the Snows & The Wentworth Room

Photos by: Alyssa Parker (alyssaparkerphoto.com)

A photo you can smell. After saying “I do,” Lauren and Zack marked their marriage with exhilarating laps down the mountain, culminating at the beloved Waffle Cabin. There is an undeniable magic in gliding down the slope as husband and wife, the sweet, warm fragrance of those famous waffles welcoming you home.

What the couple had to say: “We had the best intimate (~45 adults), snowy winter wedding at the Wentworth Room at Stratton. The team matched our energy – where we were laid back, they rolled with it. Where we had millions of questions, they provided all the resources and options we could need. On weekend of, they created our vision for set-up and they did the full take-down on our behalf. They packed everything up neatly and thoughtfully. Sarah, our coordinator, made my wedding dreams happen by giving us the opportunity to go skiing during our reception. And even got us some chocolate waffles!!! All in all, we are so incredibly happy we went with Stratton. The chapel is also beautiful and with so little decor looked gorgeous. Great value for our wonderful wedding weekend.”
